At the Itasca Park District, children ages 2 to 5 are invited to learn, play, and explore in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment. Our Early Childhood Education Program features core offerings like Tiny Tikes Preschool and Junior Kindergarten, along with enrichment classes and our Lunch & Learn option that extends your child’s day with hands-on learning, perfect for parents looking for uninterrupted time to work or relax. We also offer a variety of general early childhood classes focused on creativity, confidence, and connection.

2025-2026 | Registration Requirements
Registration Now Open
- Must have a household account set up at the Park District prior to online registration
- Online registration is available only if paying in full
- First payment is due at time of registration. If paying by EFT, there will be 8 additional monthly payments. Participants who pay in full can save 8% compared to those who opt for the EFT payment plan.
- Proof of Residency, i.e. Driver’s License or utility bill (All Students)
- School Physical (All Students due by October 15)
- The Itasca Park District uses ePACT, our online emergency form system, for our emergency forms. Once you sign up, please look in your email to complete this information.
- Registration is now available online or accepted in person during regular business hours at the Itasca Recreation Center.
- Classes start the week of Labor Day and end mid-May. All of our Early Childhood Education classes follow the Itasca School District #10 calendar for holidays and weather related closings.
- There is a $100 cancellation fee for withdrawing from Tiny Tikes, Preschool, Junior Kindergarten, or Lunch ‘N Learn.
- There is a $50 cancellation fee for withdrawing from the Enrichment additional day options.
- A late payment or insufficient funds notice will result in a $25 fee.
